Alaska, 2001 - A close encounter with an Iditarod puppy.
After getting settled on the ship, Lynne, Bruce and I went to Seavey's Ididaride for a sled ride. Seward is where the Seavey's train during the "summer" months. Dallas Seavey was our tour guide, a bright young man who is the 5th generation in his family to take up mushing.
After the tour and ride, we got to go back to play with the puppies who are kept in pens with their litters and moms.
